One team, from the first call to the final report

The people who build your platform are the people who run it on the day: the production team at Derham Productions. Here’s what that looks like.

The process

Five stages

  1. Plan

    A call to go through the programme, how delegates register, whether tickets are paid, your branding and what you need to report on afterwards.

  2. Build

    We set up the platform on your web address, apply your branding and load the programme, speakers, posters and delegate list. You review it and ask for changes.

  3. Rehearse

    Every remote speaker gets a technical check. Then a full run-through with chairs and producers, using the real platform.

  4. Go live

    Our team produces the stream, watches the backup, monitors sign-ins and answers delegate questions until the last session ends.

  5. Follow up

    Recordings go up on demand with chapters. You get attendance and viewing reports, and certificates are ready to download.

What we look after, so you don’t have to

You focus on your speakers and delegates. We keep the broadcast running, keep an eye on the platform and keep you updated through the day.

  • Speakers brought on air from the green room at the right moment
  • Titles, slides and speaker names added to the stream
  • Main and backup streams monitored throughout
  • A support inbox for delegates requiring assistance
Questions

Questions organisers ask us

Do delegates need to download anything?

No. Everything runs in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Delegates sign in with the email address they registered with.

Can we use the platform with our own production team?

Yes. The platform is available on its own, without our crew. AV and streaming companies and event agencies use it this way to offer branded event platforms to their own clients, with us setting it up and supporting their team. Get in touch to talk about reselling it.

Can it be a hybrid event?

Yes. We can film and stream from your venue, bring in remote speakers, and put the in-room and online audiences’ questions in the same Q&A.

Can we charge for tickets?

Yes. Paid tickets are optional. Access to the stream and recordings opens as soon as a delegate’s payment goes through.

Can we add our own delegate list?

Yes. Send us a spreadsheet and we’ll import it, or let delegates register themselves, or both.

How long do recordings stay available?

As long as you need. Many organisers keep the on-demand library open for a few months after the event.

What reports do we get?

Who registered, who signed in and when, and how long each delegate watched live and on demand. Everything can be exported to a spreadsheet.

Can we reuse the platform next year?

Yes. Your platform can be refreshed with a new programme and branding, or used for a series of events.
